100 minus 3: Mulvane Art Auction 2021
June 4 @ 6:00pm - 7:00pm
The Friends of the Mulvane Art Museum (FOMAM) will host a virtual fine art auction to benefit the Mulvane Art Museum the week of May 31 to June 4. A livestream event will showcase the work of the Mulvane and the artworks up for auction on Friday, June 4 at 6:00 pm.
The event, “100 minus 3: Mulvane Art Auction 2021,” will feature artworks by two dozen artists—some who are favorites from the annual Mulvane Art Fair, along with some new names. Participants will have an opportunity to bid on the artworks, along with a few art-related packages.
Artists who are taking part in the art auction are: Kim Casebeer, George Mayfield, Barbara Waterman-Peters, John Holcomb, Cally Krallman, Matthew Richter, Jenny Meyer-McCall, Stephen Smith, Jenny Bullard, Justin Marable, Aisha Lee, Anthony Grant, Angie Pickman, Becky Drager, Cristine Sundquist, Douglas Sheafor, Chris Coffey, Matthew Sherman, Alex Burke, Larry Peters, Cynthia Stotler-Hedberg, Dana Echols, and Benjamin Wills.
Artists participating in the auction are donating all, or a portion of, the proceeds from the sale of their artwork to the Mulvane Art Museum to fund educational art programs and exhibitions that benefit the Washburn University, Topeka/Shawnee County and northeast Kansas area communities.
The artwork up for auction will be available for viewing starting May 24th on the Mulvane’s website: mulvaneartmuseum.org. Bidding starts May 31st and ends June 4th at 8:00 pm.
The livestream event will be streamed on the Mulvane Art Museum’s YouTube channel on Friday, June 4 at 6:00 pm.
