This sensational drama is the story of Troy Maxson, a former star of the
Negro baseball leagues who now works as a garbage man in 1957 Pittsburgh. Excluded as a black man from the major leagues during his prime, Troy’s bitterness takes its toll on his relationships with his wife and his son, who now wants his own chance to play ball.

Because HHT administration office hours differ on weekends, online ticket sales close at 4pm on Fridays. However, tickets are available at the door one hour prior to each performance if you are unable to purchase them online. Online ticket orders placed before 4pm on Fridays, can be picked up at the HHT Box Office until 5pm on Fridays or will be at will call one hour prior to the performance.
