Creative Kansans: Process Art Class (ages 3-5)

Discover fellow creative Kansans!
This class will explore artwork created by a different Kansan each week. Using process art*, we’ll take inspiration from their art to create a piece all our own!
We will discuss the following artists during our classes:
– Nina E. Allender
– Aaron Douglas
– NedRa Bonds
– Jon Gnagy
Students will have an opportunity to display their creations during the March First Friday art walk.
*Process Art is art that is child-directed, choice-driven, and celebrates the experience of discovery. In process art, the final product is always unique and the focus lies in the creation of the work, not the outcome.
