Life is a healing journey. That is how Oshara would explain her life and her art journey. Oshara’s latest work is about Releasing Trauma Mind. It’s all connected. This is especially important now because September is Suicide Prevention Month.
Oshara started her art journey in 2007 after she did a creativity meditation. Upon ending the meditation time, she got up a drew her first painting which was an acrylic pastel. It was her visual interpretation of creativity which is a Butterfly Goddess in a red dress.
She has since expanded her creativity in many directions. She is a muralist on the Brown v Board Artsconnect Mural, TPD ArtsConnectMural and the HiCrest Basketball Court Mural. She loves to create jewelry, wall hangings and everything in between.
She considers herself to be a healing creative artist. She is the happiest when others see her work and make their own interpretations of what it means.
