Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures for relaxing nature hike and a writing exercise with Dirty Girl and author Michell Terry. Dirty Girl Michelle is a photographer and poet who connects with nature and expresses her thoughts and feelings about life, love and the daily blessings and challenges through poetry. This event is a combination hike and writing workshop in nature.
September 20th, Tuesday 5:30pm
We will meet at 5:30pm at Iliff Commons, our hike will be relaxing and restorative, allowing thoughtful connection to nature. After a short hike, we will collect to talk and listen to Michelle. She will help us get our thoughts and ideas on paper and inspire us to keep trying. Michelle is a dreamer and nature girl, a mama, a wife, a professional, a helper and a Dirty Girl. Join us to hike, relax, think, talk, laugh and write some nature inspired ideas… or any ideas down in your journal. 😀 We will enjoy sunset over the Iliff Prairie together.

Check in at Iliff Commons at 5:30pm specific directions will be emailed a couple of days before the event
Bring/wear: headlamp just in case, comfortable clothes and shoes appropriate for hiking and sitting outside, water, snacks, journal or notebook, writing utensil, consider a seat pad or lightweight camp chair for sitting when we talk and write.

If you’d like to purchase a book, plan ahead – Michelle will bring some with her. They are $25 and you will receive a $5 discount day of this event.
Dirty Girl Adventures Open Event Refund Policy: Refunds are given up to one week before the date of the event no questions asked. After that, refunds are not given unless there are exceptional circumstances. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel or modify an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We will paddle and hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions.
What are you paying for? It’s more than a hike, it’s an experience! With Dirty Girl Adventures you will always have a guide, support on the trail, a sweep hiker to ensure that all are comfortable on the adventure. We will provide instruction, support, guidance and safety information before and during each event. We will be there with you for the duration of the event doing our best to help you remain comfortable and engaged in the adventure.
