Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures in the Backroom Bar for Miki P and the Swallowtails. This trio of women will surprise you! They absolutely rock! Formed in Kansas City, MO in 2018, the Swallowtails trio is made up of Miki P on guitar/vocals, Adee Dancy on cello/vocals, and Rachel Lovelace on bassoon/vocals. In search of beautiful melodies, the Swallowtails are artists committed to creating music that combines a range of emotions through grounded songwriting, sealed together with their unique instrumentation.

The Swallowtails released “The World Still Spins” in May of this year and it’s divine.

The title comes from a lyric on the album, with most all of these songs resonating the flow of change within the passing of time. The release of this project solidified the band as an acoustic powerhouse trio; Miki holding down the rhythm section, Rachel and Adee trading counter-melodies and all Swallowtails contributing floating harmonies and grounded lead vocals.
