One of Topeka's oldest bars located in Oakland
Established in 1933, Brass Rail has been a pillar in the community for almost 100 years (even briefly serving as the sole location for the only payphone in all of Oakland). The Rail opens bright and early every day (7a) to serve the working class and stays open late (2a) for night owls. The bar features an original pre-1900s Brunswick bartop and cabinet set (previously located in a prominent KC Hotel) and you’ll find an eclectic array of local signs and decor throughout the bar, making it a visual historic treasure trove.
